Chiropractic care for kids and teens

Yes — Eagle Creek sees patients under 18. Care begins with a careful evaluation, stays focused on muscles, joints, and posture, and is adapted to your child’s age, size, and comfort.

How we care for younger patients

A careful first visit

We start with your child’s health history and what you’ve noticed, then check posture, movement, and the area of concern. We explain what we find and what we recommend before any care begins — and if chiropractic care isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you.

Care sized to your child

When care is a good fit, it may include gentle, child-appropriate adjustments, posture exercises, and stretches — adapted to your child’s age, size, and comfort. We explain each step to you and your child as we go.

Alongside your pediatrician

Chiropractic care is not a substitute for your child’s regular medical care. If we see anything that needs a medical evaluation, we’ll recommend you follow up with your child’s pediatrician.

Why families bring kids in

Pediatric chiropractic care focuses on muscles, joints, and posture. Common reasons families visit include:

  • Back or neck discomfort from long hours of sitting, homework, or screens
  • Posture concerns, including heavy-backpack habits
  • Strains and aches from sports and play
  • Soreness after a fall, a sports collision, or a car accident
  • A posture and movement check — with a referral to your pediatrician if something like scoliosis needs medical evaluation

For concerns outside muscles and joints — such as feeding, sleep, ear infections, or attention and behavior — your child’s pediatrician is the right place to start.

What to expect

The first visit is mostly conversation and evaluation. We’ll ask about your child’s health history, activities, and what you’ve noticed, then look at posture and movement. Before anything else happens, we’ll explain what we found and whether we recommend care.

If we do, the plan is built around your child and often includes things to practice at home — stretches, posture habits, and a better setup for homework and screens. We keep you informed at every visit and adjust the plan as your child’s needs change.
